Information about examinations

Examination dates:

According to the statutes of the University of Vienna (§ 7 para. 3 of the study law part), 4 examination dates are offered per course: one at the end of the semester and one at the beginning, in the middle and at the end of the following semester. After that, it is no longer possible to take the exam (except in justified exceptional cases)!

Registration for exams via the online registration system u:space is only possible between 21 and 7 days up to the exam date. A deregistration is possible until 2 working days (Mon-Fri) before the exam via u:space.

Information on the registration and deregistration for examinations at the faculty can be found in the "Script for the workshop for first-year students" (German). There, you will also find instructions on how to use u:space.

Absence:

If you are absent from the exam without being excused, you will automatically be marked as "absent", which will result in a six week long ban from taking the exam!

Exam Inspection:

You can view your written examination at any time. Please make an appointment at the office.
