Abstrakt

This paper considers the Midrash Shir ha-Shirim rabbah as a “key to the Torah”, especially the Exodus. The first part describes the midrash to the Song of Songs as an intertextual reading of the Torah and portrays its thematic focuses. The second part presents the quotations from and allusions to the Book of Exodus in ShirR.
